Application and use

Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white extra tc offers an excellent printing quality in all conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing.

In combination with the appropriate adhesive, this product is perfect for applications where the removability of the label is required.

This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.

HERMA PP white extra tc is perfect for the production of optically demanding, glossy, non-transparent labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces. The nacreous look of the film adds an exquisite touch to the labels.

HERMA PP white extra tc is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.

Adhesive 42N is suitable for applications requiring medium tack combined with good removability. It is particularly suited for labelling surfaces like cardboard, PE-Films and steel. Removability may be impaired if applied on certain surface coated materials.Adhesive 42N features excellent resistance to light, heat and ageing.

The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.
