Application and use

HERMA PO Laser has been specially designed for laser printers. Printing tests showed excellent results both with monochrome and colour laser printing.

In combination with suitable inks the matt surface of HERMA PO Laser offers an excellent quality of imprint with all customary printing methods.

Label sheets produced from HERMA PO Laser are particularly suitable for product marking (e.g. for labelling pallets or barrels).

 

Adhesive 64Z covers a very wide range of applications. Thanks to its aggressive adhesion properties it is suited for an extensive variety of even critical surfaces such as rough cardboard and slightly dirty surfaces. The adhesive is highly resistant to heat, light and ageing. Typical areas of application for this coated kraft liner are computer labels for laser printers (continuous or sheet stock), which require higher stiffness and excellent stay-flat characteristics.

The material complies with BS 5609 Section Two (Resistanceto Sea Water).

Processing

Good die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines. As part of a self-adhesive compound HERMA KW (511) offers excellent die-cutting characteristics with all customary flatbed and rotary die-cutting tools.

Storage conditions

Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.

The shelf life is four years from date of production.

Regulations concerning contact with food

All ingredients of adhesive 64Z comply with recommendations BfR XIV or FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.
