Application and use

Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white cav. tc offers an excellent printing quality in conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing. This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.

HERMA PP white cav. tc is perfect for the production of optically demanding, glossy and opaque labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces. The nacreous look of the film adds an exquisite touch to the labels.

This BOPP film is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.

Adhesive 42Rpp offers good tack combined with excellent removability from most surfaces, even after long-term labelling. Thanks to its well-balanced adhesive characteristics this removable adhesive is pe rfectly suited for a wide variety of applications. However, the low adhesion of 42Rpp is likely to be insufficient for applications on curved surfaces. The adhesive is resistant to light, heat and ageing.

The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.
