Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white super tc offers an excellent printing quality in all conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing.
This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
HERMA PP white super tc is perfect for the production of optically demanding, glossy white labels. The nacreous look of the film adds an exquisite touch to the labels. This BOPP film is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.
The adhesive has been specifically developed for label applications where residue-free removal of the label material in the PET and HDPE recycling stream is required. In addition, the transparent adhesive is also suitable for applications on PP or PS surfaces, providing good resistance to aging, heat, and light.
72Hpw is also suitable for application on glass and has been successfully tested for its removability during the glass recycling process in accordance with the CETIE test method. The final assessment of the recyclability of the labelled bottle remains the responsibility of the respective end user or distributor placing the product on the market.
HERMA PET has excellent properties in demanding applications. The high strength characteristics eliminate web breaks in high speed applications with narrow webs allowing high dispensing speeds. Compared to paper liners HERMA PET is not sensitive to moisture resulting less curl and excellent dispensing properties.PET Recycling:The label material can be separated without residues in the PET recycling stream. It is certified by cyclos-HTP to have no negative effects on the recycling of PET bottles or trays (80 °C). The material is fully compatible with PET bottle recycling according to RecyClass (80-85 °C).
HDPE Recycling:The material can be completely separated in the HDPE stream by cold washing (40 °C). It is fully compatible with rigid HDPE recycling stream according to RecyClass, KIDV and cyclos-HTP.
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.
